SMALL STAKES: THE BOOK

I am a huge fan of artist/graphic designer Jason Munn and was thrilled to see that he has published a book of his work: The Small Stakes Music Posters. Available on March 17, the book will include more than 150 of his prints designed for a seriously impressive list of musicians. Given my difficulty for choosing a favorite Jason Munn print, his book will be welcomed and inspiring addition to my library. {Available for pre-order here. Published by Chronicle Books.}

MUMFORD & SONS

Have you heard of the English folk rock band Mumford & Sons? I have been listening to them for just a little while and am completely charmed by their instrumental sound. They also seem like pretty cool guys. I love this video for their song The Cave.

SUNDAY SUPPERS' PARIS

I am constantly impressed by Sunday Suppers... by their enchanting dinner parties, incredible meals, and especially by the beautiful photography and styling of Karen Mordechai. Her recent pictures of her trip to Paris (including a visit to the shop Merci, which is definitely on my list) were so gorgeous, it is hard to resist the urge to book a flight for the spring! {Images by Karen Mordechai}

BLUE BOTTLE COFFEE

Last weekend I headed up to San Francisco to see my valentine, to celebrate a friend's birthday, and to, of course, take in a few cups of SF's Blue Bottle Coffee. Blue Bottle is a coffee lover's dream... I won't pretend to understand the science (or the siphons) behind its rich deliciousness—all I know is that they make some serious coffee. I have loved the clever and ever so romantic For Like Ever poster by Village for so long... for a while it wasn't available, but I just noticed that it's back. Looks like it may be time to expand my graphic print collection even further...

Lately I have been listening to the music of up-and-coming Annie Bethancourt, and wow does she have a voice. One of the most well designed everyday items I've seen in a while is this wooden LED alarm clock... available for just $28 from homeloo. I'm not sure how I missed Rae Dunn's beautiful handmade ceramic fortune ornaments around the holidays...but am so happy to have found them now. Her entire shop is filled with perfect little hand-stamped ceramics...

MAST BROTHERS CHOCOLATE

Recently The Selby, the spot for lifestyle photographs of some of the most intriguing subjects, took a visit to Mast Brothers Chocolate in Brooklyn. I loved the peek into their factory, where the chocolates are handcrafted from cocoa beans that are roasted in house...and packaged beautifully to boot. {Images by Todd Selby}

I am so excited to share today's print from 20x200... a beautiful photograph from my neck of the woods by Ian Baguskas entitled Rincon Artificial Island and Pipeline. I drive by this site often (it's just south of where I live) and feel he has captured it perfectly.
