DIOR CREME DE ROSE

I have a bit of a thing for rose flavored lip balms (my favorite is vaseline rosy lips balm I pick up at Boots each time I'm in England) and I'm dying to try Dior's Creme de Rose, which two of my favorite French bloggers seem to be hooked on... {images by Garance Doré and the cherry blossom girl}

THE BRICK HOUSE

I just came across The Brick House (don't know what took me so long!), a blog by Morgan Satterfield about "renovating a mid century cement brick house"... and I have to say that I love their aesthetic and diy capabilities. I am also seriously impressed by their eye for thrifting, an area where I myself have no skills.

ROYALLY WED

Did everyone enjoy watching the royal wedding as much as I did? I was surprised by how captivating the whole affair was, even on a west coast delay. A few things I loved the most were the trees brought in to decorate the abbey, Pippa's stunning maid of honor dress, this grumpy flower girl, and the fact that (finally) we have some happy news in the news. {I also loved this wedding route map by the house that lars built, via this is glamorous.}{top photo by Oli Scarff / Getty Images}

Lately I have been inspired by the photography of many of my favorite bloggers. A TREE GROWS IN THE HALLWAY
I am crazy about this beautiful hallway and love the idea of growing indoor citrus trees. Seems like quite a feat to keep them alive, but a girl can dream! {via wit + delight's pinterest}

WINTER WARMTH

The past few days have been a balmy 80° here in Santa Barbara and while it's a bit of a tease since summer's so far away, we couldn't help but make the most of it with lots of time on the beach. These pictures are from an early morning walk along the beach near my house... we fell in love with this perfectly tangly piece of driftwood and I was super tempted to drag it all the way home.

JUSTIN'S
At the moment I'm a bit obsessed with Justin's nut butter and its cute packaging. I've only tried a couple of flavors, but so far am a huge fan of the maple almond butter... so yummy.

JESSIE ZINKE HOME
One of my favorite sources for beautiful interiors continues to be the online magazine Rue. I love the layout of the magazine and the fact that they highlight so many homes in each issue. In the most recent edition (issue 2), the home of Jessie Zinke really caught my eye. I am especially crazy about her kitchen and her Perch bar stools from Anthropologie, which seem to fit perfectly. {photos by Emily Anderson, from Rue Magazine}

YOURSTRULY, CAPE TOWN

On our first day in Cape Town, we stumbled upon an amazing little coffee spot on Long Street, Yourstruly. Lo and behold it would become one of our favorite spots in the city. We would pop in every morning for the most amazing lattes and sandwiches of mozzarella, salami, and rocket and a chat with the owner, Daniel Holland. I loved the decor, with dark grey walls and lots of wood. I would have moved in if I could! I also love the fact that they source their beans locally from Deluxe Coffeeworks just around the corner. Definitely worth a visit if you're in Cape Town! {view more pics here}
BUENOS AIRES FLAT
