UNDERWATER

Hopefully this is where I am as we speak! In a last minute turn of events, David and I and some friends are in Hawaii for quick get-away to celebrate his birthday... Hope you have a great weekend.... and happy birthday David!! {The last time I was there I brought an underwater camera and just recently had the film developed. I forgot how entirely fun they can be.}

This past weekend, my good friends were married here in Santa Barbara and in all the whirlwind I forgot to share their invitations, which I loved... elegant and simple letterpress by Traction Press in LA.

SET EDITIONS

I love these thick, nearly cardboard-weight postcards by Set Editions and their perfect little sentiments... I picked a handful up from the Conran Shop last time I was there and can't wait to put them to use. I also love their cheeky stop talking cards... if for no other reason than to try and think of occasions to use them. Visit their mighty little shop here.

SX-70

Bear with me on the eBay-grade photo... but I just found this Polaroid SX-70 beauty on eBay and couldn't be more thrilled. I have been stockpiling some film (primarily thanks to my Dad who ran across a polaroid goldmine in Seattle) and hope to get a little life out of it. And after that... at least it will be pretty to look at.

I have been loving the felt trend for a while now, and especially this adorable child's chair by Bookhou. I also love their cut-out alphabet for a kid's room... wouldn't it make a great baby gift?
