Tomorrow my friends over at Apolis Activism will be releasing their Market Bag as part of their Bangladesh Project. They have partnered with Saidpur Enterprise in Bangladesh to produce the bag, and have already helped to create local opportunities in the process. I love how the bag turned out and can’t wait to get my hands on one myself…

THAT BEACH

Every once in a while as a blogger you come across a photograph that just really resonates with you and seems to epitomize your style... and that leaves you with nothing but respect and adoration for the artist. Every once in a while I come across a men's shop that really catches my eye... at the moment it is the incredibly simple, incredibly well done Baxter Finley barber shop in LA. They provide just a few traditional grooming services and use all their own (well-packaged) products. I think a visit would make a great gift for any guy...

JOYA PARFUM

I am a total sucker for beautiful packaging and was blown away when I saw these porcelain bottles for Joya's latest perfumes on oh joy yesterday. Each bottle is handmade by the talented Sarah Chihat (whose work I love) and are complete with a 22k gold dipped wand. Can't wait to get my hands on one of each!

LYNDSAY + FITZHUGH'S

When I saw this tour of Lyndsay + Fitzhugh's Brooklyn home on The Selby last week I was in love. There are so many things about their home that I love, especially the neutral color palette and their use of chunky wood pieces (many of which were designed by Fitzhugh)...and the open and airy rooms. So much space for New York! I am also completely crazy about that funky little side table in the bedroom above... {Images by Todd Selby}

ENGAGED!

I have some wildly exciting news to share... as of Saturday, David and I are engaged!!! Although he claims I left him down on one knee for a while, I couldn't have said yes fast enough... I have never been so sure of anything. I wasn't thinking straight enough to manage any pictures, but wanted to share a recent favorite of us.... Can't wait for all that's ahead...
