On our first day in Cape Town, we stumbled upon an amazing little coffee spot on Long Street, Yourstruly. Lo and behold it would become one of our favorite spots in the city. We would pop in every morning for the most amazing lattes and sandwiches of mozzarella, salami, and rocket and a chat with the owner, Daniel Holland. I loved the decor, with dark grey walls and lots of wood. I would have moved in if I could! I also love the fact that they source their beans locally from Deluxe Coffeeworks just around the corner. Definitely worth a visit if you're in Cape Town! {view more pics here}

CONFETTI SYSTEM + JCREW
I too was stoked to see that JCrew paired with Confetti System for their recent window displays... and was even more excited when I saw these mini Confetti System ornaments made for the project. Don't you love the little blue & peach one?! {via oh joy}
RIFLE CHRISTMAS

One of the strange things about being out of the country for Thanksgiving is that you come home and BAM! it's Christmas. No complaints here, but forgive me if I am a bit behind. Luckily, I did manage to get my RIFLE order in with time to spare. I continue to love the work of Anna Bond and just when I thought her work couldn't get any better, her holiday collection wowed me again this year.

SOUTH AFRICA
David and I just returned from a pretty amazing trip to South Africa for his cousin's wedding. We spent our time in Cape Town and Stellenbosch and enjoyed every minute. A few highlights were having a blast with David's South African (and English) family and friends, walking the white sandy beaches, watching the sunset in Camp's Bay, taking in the staggering views from the top of Table Mountain, learning more about South Africa's history, the amazing seafood, our game drive at the Aquila Game Reserve, and finally, relaxing in the sunny vineyards of Stellenbosch.
